FEATURES

Independent drawers
An independent drawer based dishwashing platform is part of what makes DishDrawer™ dishwasher unique. At bench height drawers glide open for easy access, visibility and better ergonomics. In Double DishDrawer™ dishwashers both drawers operate independently so different wash cycles can operate simultaneously to accommodate a variety of loads. Glasses, pots and pans can be washed in separate drawers at the same time.

Superior Filtration
One of the challenges in all dishwashers is a robust filter system that removes debris and avoids blocking. The kidney filter and overmoulded filter plate creates a firm seal to ensure that debris does not enter the wash mechanism and cause backflow. It is designed to be removable for easy and hygienic cleaning.

SmartDrive™ Wash Function
The unique brushless DC motor acts as both a wash pump and a drain pump, which means less moving parts and greater reliability.

Safe
DishDrawer™ dishwasher incorporates unique safety features such as Child Lock which both locks the drawer to prevent opening as well as disabling the buttons. In addition it includes three stage flood protection; the high strength hose withstands water pressure several times greater than normal, overfill detection cuts the water supply if limits are exceeded and the back-up switch activates the drain pump to remove any excess water.

Flow Through Detergent Dispenser
The DishDrawer™ detergent dispenser ensures that undissolved detergent does not drop into the tub, but instead is mixed as the machine fills with water. This not only cleans each load better but also reduces the possibility of damaging delicate items such as aluminum, cutlery or porcelain glazes.

Nine Wash Options
All DishDrawer™ dishwashers feature nine wash programmes tailored to different washing requirements: Rinse, Fast Eco, Fast, Delicate Eco, Delicate, Normal Eco, Normal, Heavy Eco, Heavy. The range of settings enables DishDrawer™ to wash everything from fine glass and crystal to heavily soiled pots and pans at the touch of a button. Primary and secondary controls provide a simple interface for programme selection and operation while the delay start setting means the dishes can be done when it’s most convenient.

Adjustable Racking
DishDrawer™ includes a range of flexible and adjustable racking options for different wash requirements. The flexible cutlery basket can be customised for different utensils and incorporates a separate small item container for easy loading and unloading. Pitch adjustable folding tines allow greater flexibility to customise loads. Tines can be folded flat to accommodate a full load of pots and pans or fold up to hold delicate glassware and crystal. Pitch adjustable racks can accommodate normal plates or simply slide and the rack can conveniently stack deep bowls. Wine glass holders ensure delicate glasses are secure throughout the wash and all side racking is fully adjustable to accommodate short stem and long stem glasses. Added retainer clips are ideal for holding chopping boards and plastic containers in position during wash cycles.

    Integrated double dish draw

Overall, we are very happy with our DishDrawer. At our previous house we had owned a single DishDrawer in the "Tall" vaiant. Upgrading to the Double DishDrawer has been good, but I was surprised at how much I missed the extra space that the "Tall" model (which is not available in a double) provided. For example, we have had to take out some of the movable shelves in order to fit our plates, whereas in the Tall model everything fit with ease. My other comment is that I was surprised at how tricky it was to install the face plates when setting up the integrated model. My wife and I have previously done two complete kitchen renovations, and attaching the faceplates to the DishDrawer was one of the hardest things we've encountered - not a problem if you're getting a cabinet maker to put on the integrated panels, but something that is worth considering if, like us, you are completing that aspect of the installation yourself.

Met our requirements, does the fundamentals well

We bought this dishwasher to replace our single door model which died. We wanted to go with the two door feature because my partner has some back issues which makes loading a normal dishwasher difficult. The top loading drawer is perfect for her to access and it has made a surprisingly positive impact on our kitchen ease-of-use (I'm surprised more manufacturers aren't making them... hint hint) In terms of fundamental dishwasher features: * it cleans really well (we use the heavy, non-eco mode for everything) * it's quiet * the dishwasher cavity itself stays clean (our past one built up a lot of food gunk around edges/seals) * it dries really well, plastic still struggles a bit, but everything else is excellent Other pros: * The second drawer lets us run asynchronous washes which is extremely handy when we're doing massive weekend cookups * we got a front plate with handles made up to match in with our other appliances (fridge/stove), so it fits in beautifully Cons: * (non-fundamental) build quality could be a bit better on the front panel mount plates. The two drawer mount plates were not quite parallel (it's pretty small difference, but noticeable once you've mounted faceplates
